Passive income investments are instruments which allow your existing money to earn more money for you. I will discuss online passive income ideas and passive income investments you can make without much money.

Passive income investments are the easy way to go as they don't require much work from you. However, they require you to lay out some money, and, as you will see, they tend to be risky.

On the other hand, the passive income ideas I will tell you, don't require any investment but do require you to work a little.

Passive Income Ideas For 2017

Here is a list of 5 passive income ideas for 2017 that require fun work to no work.

1. Utilize Your Creativity to Make a Passive Income

Maybe you are good a photography, or maybe you just lack the creative bit. Either way, you are going to make passive income using my advice.

If you are good at photography, go out take some photographs. You don't actually have to work; at a wedding, take out that camera; on a vacation, click! click!

Once you have some original photographs, you can post them on an image stock website. Every time someone buys your photographs, you will receive a part of the money. If you take this seriously, you could make a few thousand per month by just following your hobby.

Dreamstime is a good stock photo site where you can upload those photographs for sale.

If you would like to take your photography skills to the next level or are not a good photographer, I recommend this book on photography. Remember, in the long-term, investment in yourself pays the highest return.

A cheap Nikon camera should be fine as a starter if you don't have any yet.

You can also create Computer Generated pictures and post them for sale. Blender is an excellent free tool and this book on Blender is a great companion.

2. Publish an Ebook

With the advent of the Internet, eBooks have become very popular. You can earn a lot if you just write an average selling eBook. It could be about anything: a collection of facts scraped from the Internet, a topic in which you expertise, etc.

3. Make YouTube Videos

Making YouTube videos is the easiest way of generating passive income.

In case you are thinking what videos to make, I have a suggestion: Make gameplay videos. The gaming industry is super hot these days and making gameplay videos requires you only to turn on your screen recorder while playing your favorite game.

4. Write a Blog

If you have some time handy, you could start writing a personal blog. Just about anything is fine on the internet. By displaying ads on your blog, you can earn money each time someone clicks on them. (And that's why I request you to click on the ads you see here, all it takes is a click).

Websites like Amazon pay you for referring customers to their sites. Such practice is called affiliate marketing. And you can make a good fortune out of it. But there is one catch: You must have a website or a self-created mobile app.

Laying out money now to gain monetary profits in the future is called investment. Quite a definition for such a simple term.

Needless to say, you will need some money outlay for the passive income investments below. But the good news is they can make you a millionaire if you do them right.

Trading refers to the practice of buying shares and selling them without holding them for long. Long-term investments in companies require doing thorough research but short-term trading is a lot easier.

However, trading is not for the less knowledgeable. It is rewarding but also requires some technical knowledge. Fortunately, technical analysis is not very difficult and this book on technical analysis will make it almost painless.

2. Invest Long-Term

The richest stock market player is Warren Buffet, a long-term investor. Long-term investment requires a larger cash outlay but is also very rewarding. If you think this your thing, go ahead. Here's the classic book on investing to help you.

3. Real Estate Investing

Real estate is the master of all games. It requires a much larger cash outlay and is much more profitable. People make money on real estate like crazy.

I don't think I need to explain much about this topic. But do keep in mind the importance of a lawyer in this business.
